The cancellation terms for each booking (e.g., flights, hotels, car rentals, train reservations, and cruises) are subject to the terms and conditions of the service provider. Pris Book acts as an intermediary between you and these providers (airlines, hotels, car rental companies, etc.), and we abide by their cancellation policies.
You will be informed of the specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking at the time of reservation. These terms vary depending on the type of service, the provider's policies, and how close the cancellation is to the travel date.
Refundable Tickets: If you purchased a refundable ticket, you are eligible for a refund, subject to the airline's terms and conditions. Some refundable tickets may have minor processing fees, which will be disclosed at the time of booking.
Non-Refundable Tickets: Most discounted or promotional fares are non-refundable. In such cases, cancellations may result in a credit for future travel with the airline, minus any cancellation fees. Please note that these credits are subject to the airline's validity period.
Changes and Modifications: You may modify your flight reservation if allowed by the airline. Change fees and fare differences may apply. The specific terms will be provided in your booking confirmation.
No-Show Policy: Failure to check in or board a flight ("no-show") will result in the total loss of the ticket value unless otherwise specified by the airline’s policy.
Free Cancellation: Some hotel bookings offer free cancellation if canceled within a specified window (e.g., 24-72 hours before check-in). You will receive a full refund if you cancel within this period.
Non-Refundable Rates: For non-refundable hotel bookings, cancellations will incur the full cost of the stay, with no refund available.
Late Cancellations: For cancellations made outside the free cancellation window, partial refunds may be available, depending on the hotel’s policy.
Free Cancellation: Most car rental bookings allow free cancellation up to 24-48 hours before the pick-up date. No fees will be charged if you cancel within this timeframe.
Late Cancellations: If you cancel after the free cancellation window, a cancellation fee may apply, typically equivalent to one day’s rental cost. The exact fee will be disclosed during the booking process.
No-Show Policy: Failure to pick up the car without prior cancellation will result in a "no-show" fee, typically the full cost of the rental for the first day, with the remaining days possibly being forfeited, depending on the rental company's policy.
Refundable Tickets: Train reservations may be refundable depending on the provider and the fare type. If your ticket is refundable, you may cancel and receive a refund, minus any applicable fees, as long as you do so before the departure time.
Non-Refundable Tickets: Non-refundable train tickets cannot be canceled for a refund, though some providers may offer a credit for future travel.
Changes and Modifications: You can modify train bookings, subject to availability and provider policies. Change fees or fare differences may apply.
Before Final Payment: Most cruise lines offer a full refund for cancellations made before the final payment deadline, which is usually 60-90 days before departure.
After Final Payment: Cancellations made after the final payment deadline will incur significant fees. The closer to the departure date, the higher the cancellation fee, which may range from partial to full forfeiture of the fare.
Travel Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for cruise bookings to cover unexpected cancellations or delays.
Refund Timelines: Once your cancellation request is processed, refunds will typically be issued to the original method of payment within 7-14 business days. However, this may vary depending on the service provider's processing times.
Partial Refunds: In cases where only part of your booking is refundable (e.g., if only some nights of a hotel stay are eligible for refund), you will receive a partial refund as outlined by the provider’s policy.
